Katleen Ravoet and Davide Salodini have been working together since 2013 in the former collective Le Cirque du Platzak.
Their shared passion for circus, street theatre, and live music brought them together — both professionally and personally.
In 2020, they founded Circ Rodini with the aim of creating a shared platform for their artistic work.
Inspired by the ‘old circus’, Circ Rodini seeks to breathe new life into the past while giving meaning to what is happening around us today.
Their work is characterized by an acrobatic and theatrical language infused with humour and a sense of perspective.
Bringing a smile to the audience’s face and helping them forget their worries for a moment may be the most valuable thing we can offer today. 🎉
Katleen
Graduated in 2012 at the Academy for Circus and Performance Arts in Tilburg (AcaPA) where she specialised in handbalancing and acrobatics.
She co-created the company Le Cirque du Platzak and Les Triplettes. Since graduating and today, Katleen has been working for companies like No Fit State Circus, Generating Company, Sprookjes Enzo, Wiener Circus, Circus Zanzara, varieté shows and other venues.
Katleen is as well a passionate circus teacher at Cirkus in Beweging, Leuven.
Her ambition and focus now is to make Circ Rodini grow and keep on reinventing herself as an artist.
Davide
Davide is a versatile artist. Graduated from the Flic Circus School in Turin and trained at AcaPa in Tilburg, he specialized in globe walking and acrobatics.
He was part of Le Cirque du Platzak and has been working professionally in the circus world for over ten years. A born clown, he captivates audiences with his presence and charisma.
A musician from a young age, he plays several instruments with skill and passion.
Passionate about working with wood, he creates stage sets and props, combining imagination with craftsmanship.
