Katleen Ravoet and Davide Salodini have been working together since 2013 in the former collective Le Cirque du Platzak.
Their common passion for circus, street theater and live music made them partners in life.
Circ Rodini is found in 2020 with the aim to create a common platform for their artistic work.
Inspired by the 'old circus', Circ Rodini tries to blow a new wind into the past in combination with giving a meaning to what is happening today.
The focus of their work is characterized by an acrobatical and theatrical language which carries humour and relativity.
Bringing smiles to the audience and make them forget their worries for a moment is maybe the most valuable we can do today.
Katleen
Graduated in 2012 at the Academy for Circus and Performance Arts in Tilburg (AcaPA) where she specialised in handbalancing and acrobatics.
She co-created the company Le Cirque du Platzak and Les Triplettes. Since graduating and today Katleen has been working for companies like No Fit State Circus, Generating Company, Sprookjes Enzo, Wiener Circus, Circus Zanzara, varieté shows and other venues.
Katleen is as well a passionate circus teacher at Cirkus in Beweging, Leuven.
Her ambition and focus now is to make Circ Rodini grow and keep on reinventing herself as an artist.
Davide
Is a multitalented guy. He finished Flic Circus school in Turin and attended AcaPa in Tilburg where he specialised in globe walking and acrobatics.
He was part of Le Cirque du Platzak and has been working since 10 years in the Circus field as a professional artist. He is a born clown and charms the public with his presence.
Davide is a musician since he is a child and plays several instruments.
He loves to build and work with wood and makes scenografies and objects for stage.
